Stacey Giamalis is a business and technology lawyer with over 20 years of experience inhouse, mostly with public companies. She has been the chief legal counsel of 6 technology companies in various sectors including enterprise software, SaaS, online marketing, and search. As chief legal counsel she has taken 3 of her companies public and done 3 sell-side and 5 buy-side mergers/asset deals, including one “jumped” merger deal. Most recently Stacey was the chief legal officer of PagerDuty, Inc., a SaaS digital operations management platform, which went public in 2019 and enjoyed a $5b market cap at its peak.
Stacey earned her Juris Doctor degree from Boalt Hall, U.C. Berkeley School of Law and was a business attorney at Farella, Braun + Martel and at Wilson, Sonsini, Goodrich & Rosati. She has lived and worked internationally, and although born and raised in Palo Alto she is also a citizen of an EU member state.
